About Weston Suggs
After years as a youth group leader and special education teacher, Weston Suggs finally gave up on being a good person and began a career in stand-up. He got his start as the irreverent sketch comedian “Shrimp King”, garnering over 13 thousand followers on Instagram, and quickly moved his talents to the stage. In just his third year as a stand-up, Weston finished as the runner-up in Helium’s NC’s Funniest Person Contest.
Weston performs in comedy clubs across the Southeast and has worked with national touring acts such as Pauly Shore, Hans Kim, and Michael Palascak. Capable of both clean and dirty sets, he has been featured with Don’t Tell Comedy, Rhizome Comedy Recordings, and The North Carolina Comedy Festival, all while being a regular at Goodnight’s Comedy Club.
Weston will make his silver screen debut in the upcoming film “Clementine Rodeo,” dir. Jacob Joyner.
